A great deal of my work in recent years has involved a response to many political issues with a strong feminist influence. In other words, from a female perspective, and moving toward protesting against the perceived unfairness of any kind. i.e., gender disparity and the use of plastics. I feel I can’t live in this world without an emotional and heartfelt response.

I use a variety of materials, including steel, resin, fibreglass, cotton sheeting, and knit with, as well as masks, which play a significant role in my work, along with clay and concrete items. My statement pieces included a plastic-filled adult baby grow and an 8ft tall fibreglass and resin mask at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.

In between, and over many years, I have sketched portraits using various media i.e., graphite, acrylics, oil crayons, and charcoal.
